Rental Information & Rates

General Information

  1. Located on the Sunshine Coast directly adjacent to the Langdale Ferry Terminal (7 minute walk or 1 minute drive). Travel from the mainland involves a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Many groups walk on the ferry at Horseshoe Bay and then walk to Camp Sunrise (7 minutes) when they arrive in Langdale. Please see the link to maps at the bottom of the page.

  2. The property is 20 acres and includes ocean front beach, large open sports field, secluded forest area.

  3. The facility includes: Chapel (holds 200 plus people), Dining Hall (feed 170 plus), Gooding Hall (multi-purpose building holds 125 plus).

  4. The free recreational options include: sand volley ball court, NBA sized basketball court, large playing field, beach front, ball diamond, children's playground and swings, two campfire pits and forest walk.

  5. Our extra-cost activities include: high and low ropes challenge course, wall climbing, zip line, archery, and canoeing. The fees are based on a variety of hourly rates and everything is subject to availability of trained staff to oversee/operate the activities.

  6. There are eleven self-contained camper cabins (ie. heat, lights, washrooms) that have a variety of rooms with single beds (bunks). There are many locations around the camp that can accommodate tents.

  7. We have a large commercial kitchen and an excellent staff who provide excellent meals and friendly service. We pride ourselves in providing great meals and in accommodating special dietary needs (ie. diabetic, vegetarian, wheat free, etc.)

  8. We are known to have competitive rates and will work with groups to accommodate their budget.

  9. Traditionally, most groups arrive on Friday night after supper and leave Sunday after lunch. We would normally provide: snack Friday night, breakfast/lunch/supper/snack on Saturday, and breakfast/lunch on Sunday. We are also able to accommodate mid-week groups

  10. Traditionally our Rental Group season runs from Mid March to the end of June, and September 1 to early November. We do not have Rental Groups during the summer season because we are running our own camps.

  11. Two large modern staff buildings can be used during the non-summer months for small group retreats (ie. up to 45 people). These are excellent year-round buildings and are perfect for leadership training or retreats. The buildings include one large meeting room, one smaller meeting room, a kitchen, cozy rooms with single beds.

  12. We do not usually cater food to small groups (ie. under 30) unless we able to combine two smaller compatible groups at one time.

  13. For smaller groups who want to do their own cooking, we have a small kitchen (ie. like a normal house) in a large building that can accommodate cooking for up to 35 people. We can rent out the entire building and enough cabins for sleeping to accommodate the group.

Rental Rates


The below rates are based on a camp rental that includes five meals, two evening snacks, two nights accommodation, appropriate meeting space and use of camp grounds & facilities (sports field, volleyball court, basketball court, playground and camp-fire pit).

The rates include the following categories:

Adult/Youth (12 years +)
Children (5-12 years)
Children (4 & under) – No charge

Additional meals/snacks are provided at the following rates:

Adult/Youth: Breakfast - $7; Lunch - $9; Supper - $11; Snack - $2
Children: Breakfast - $5; Lunch - $7; Supper - $9; Snack - $2
Coffee/Tea/Juice - $1/person per day


Extra night’s accommodation: $25/person
Use of Guys/Girls Staff Buildings: $20/person extra
Use of Guest Cottage: $50 extra

Rental Fees
